While reports currently remain uncertain on the fate of TGX and Mirrors, in the last year or so the scene has suffered the loss of both Zippy and RBG among other popular file-sharing sites... so only time will reveal the outcome of this message: "TGX is offline. Updates will be posted in case of any changes." followed by "4ever?"

who knows what will happen like what happened to zippy plus f1 it's not user friendly coz the time limit and there is on resume for me i only use it with small games and for the big ones i use another one

Great selection here... Question for anyone who knows: Why does the community seem to prefer direct over P2P? With the loss of these hosts, it doesn't seem like a viable path forward imho.

As there are advantages and disadvantages to both, uploaders generally choose their preferred means and leave it to the community to spread the releases across others.

While torrents may last longer, the initial uploader has to be familiar with the process in general and willing to seed a bit... Web hosts offer end-users the ability to instantly upload and share files although they tend to get taken down more often.

It also depends on the size of the content being shared, if it is massive (hundreds of GB's or TB's) a torrent may make more sense, but if a PKG update is only a few GB (knowing there will inevitably be more PKG version updates, for example) throwing it on a 'disposable' Web host might make more sense.
